MARITIME Marketing recently commissioned one of the largest Formech vacuum forming machines in Africa at Envisioneers, a company which offers CNC, 3D printing and design and prototyping
The 1250 model is the second largest unit that Formech produces and can process a sheet size of 1 220mm x1 220mm and has a forming area of 1 180mm x1 180mm. The machine comes standard with an electric heater drive and pneumatic table and clamping function for a less labour-intensive operation. The
“The FCV (Formech Cycle View) is a great additional function allowing the customer to control each stage of the vacuum forming process resulting in premium quality formed products. Standard components like quartz heaters are not only energy efficient but also safer than the ceramic equivalents,” explains Matthew Glanvill from Maritime Marketing.
Envisioneers Managing Director, Gerard Vermaerke, explains why he chose Formech: “We were constantly looking for a high-quality vacuum forming machine as vacuum forming is a key part of our business. We saw a demonstration of the machine at Maritime Marketing's offices and were impressed by the high quality and ease of operation. Maritime Marketing provided us with exceptional service and we were impressed with how quickly they installed the machine.”
“Envisioneers has a history that spans over 20 years. Now, armed with this new machine, we can do so much more in terms of point of sale products, signage, custom moulding, plastic covers and custom designs.”
